The Forging Industry Education & Research Foundation (FIERF), a supporting organization to the Forging Institute Association, has named Electralloy as a Gold Anvil partner as a result of the companyís ongoing contributions to foster forging industry education and research.

Believing that technological innovations are key components to the competitiveness of the North American forging industry, FIERF provides funding for university research, industry collaborative programs, scholarships and educational opportunities to encourage studies and research in forging technologies.  To continue and grow these programs, the Foundation asks companies and individuals within the industry to pledge their support.

The Gold Anvil designation puts Electralloy in celebrated company as a member of the Foundationís Anvil Society; the Gold Anvil recognizes those very important supporters of the Foundation whose backing and commitment over the past three years has been exemplary.

"The programs fostered by the Foundation provide a path of opportunity for future engineers which, in turn,
helps create a brighter future for the forging industry," said Electralloy President, Tracy Rudolph.  "Being

able to play a role in that effort is extremely gratifying for us."
