Andrew Nichols, Summer Sales Intern, has always had a strong interest in a career in sales.

Electralloy is helping him gain firsthand experience in the steel industry through the company’s summer intern program.

Andrew is heading into his senior year at Grove City College, where he is double majoring in Marketing and Management.

Andrew will shadow Electralloy’s Inside Sales team members, becoming immersed in sales operations and cross-departmental interaction while contributing to real projects, and gaining insight into the production and technical operations of a specialty steel mill.

By the end of the program, Andrew will:

• Have a good understanding of the specialty metals industry and Electralloy’s role within it.
• Gain firsthand experience in inside sales, quoting, and order processing.
• Observe how Sales collaborates with Operations, Quality, Production, and Shipping.
• Develop professional skills in communication, customer service, data analysis, and project management.
• Contribute to internal sales process improvements and marketing outreach efforts.
• Deliver a final Capstone Project identifying a real-world sales challenge with actionable solutions.

“I'm looking forward to contributing wherever I can and building on my previous experience in steel sales,” stated Andrew.

When Andrew isn’t working, he enjoys going to the gym, hunting, cooking, camping, and exploring new places. He is also passionate about MMA, football, basketball, and his faith.
